The other day my parents and I visited the Corby Rose Garden in Belleville. We walked around the park, and my mother and I took pictures of the blooming roses and the various other plants that were in this Historical Park. On the plaque that they have in the park I read a brief history of when the park was donated and whom it was donated by. It said the park was donated to Belleville in 1905 by the Corby family. It was then reopened on June 28th 1967 for Canadian Centennial Year. Below are some of the photos that I took at the Corby Rose Garden. Continue Reading »

On our way up to Picton on one of our Sunday drives we drove past what I thought was someone’s house. They had a statue of a man on a horse so I asked my father to pull over so I could get some photos for my blog. When we pulled into the driveway the yard was plastered with stone and iron statue and about five minutes later we found out that the “house” was actually a store called Iron world. Last week my parents and I went down to the Meyer’s Pier to take some pictures. It was starting to get dark so unfortunately I was only able to get a couple photos of the sunset and of the boats.
